Meaghan Cooper is a Hooters Girl that is busy telling everyone that she has been going at it with Mario Lopez. The former bartender, Hooters calendar girl, aspiring rock star and reality television star, Meaghan is being blamed for the break up of Mario Lopez and his “Dancing with the Stars†partner Karina Smirnoff. She is speaking out now as she says she was told by Mario that he was single, and she doesn’t want to be looked at as the other woman.

She says she says she unknowingly cut in on Mario Lopez and his Dancing With the Stars partner, Karina Smirnoff. In an interview with E! Online she says that he told her that he lived alone, but her first clue that he was not telling the truth was when she whipped open the closet and saw a bunch of women’s shoes.
Smirnoff’s spokeperson told People, “Karina has parted ways with her two year relationship with Mario Lopez. The relationship wasn’t heading in the right direction.†This shouldn’t be much of a surprise. The Enquirer has photos of the pair doing the bump and grind on the dance floor from last year. Cooper, from San Antonio, Texas, was Miss September in the 2007 Hooters calendar, reportedly told the The Enquirer in an interview at the time that Mario told her his romance with Karina was over.
“He said he broke up with her. If he’s still seeing her, he said it’s because he’s just trying to keep things ‘cordial’ between them because of the dancing show. I wouldn’t be parading around with him if he was still with Karina.” Lots of pictures of the two are now surfacing, and it certainly didn’t hurt Mario’s image with People Magazine as they have named him their sexiest bachelor.
