CNN weekend anchor Betty Nguyen (pictured) is moving to CBS News. She is a favorite of those that love to rank female newscasters on looks and sex appeal and is a favorite of TV Anchor Babes blogspot.

The beautiful anchor and reporter does have serious news skills as well, according to a bio from the network she is leaving, “Nguyen began her career as a morning anchor and reporter at KWTX in Waco, Texas.”
CNN adds: “During her tenure with the CBS affiliate, she received an Associated Press Award for breaking news coverage. She also served as a freelance correspondent for E! Entertainment Television during the 2003 California gubernatorial election.”

Touting the anchor’s education, the report notes Nguyen graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.
“She has a great on-air presence and brings a tremendous amount of hard news reporting and anchoring experience to CBS News,” CBS Sports and News President Sean McManus said in a press release.
