Actress JENNIFER LAWRENCE refused to overdo her workout routine to slim down and shape up for her near-naked role in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS – because she wanted to maintain her curves and "look like a woman".
The Winter's Bone star, 20, plays Mystique in the upcoming comic book movie and had to be almost completely nude, so she could be sprayed head to toe in blue body paint for the part.
Lawrence decided against embarking on a super-strict diet and exercise plan to prepare for the revealing role and only agreed to submit to a light training regimen and high-protein food plan, allowing her to simply sculpt her figure.
She tells Elle magazine, "I knew that if I was going to be naked in front of the world, I wanted to look like a woman and not a prepubescent 13-year-old boy. I'm so sick of people thinking that's what we're supposed to look like."
