Last Minute Christmas Gifts – Ideas and Deals from Best Buy, Walmart and Target

December 23, 2011 By Brenda Jones

Best Buy, Walmart and Target are all taking aim at desperate last-minute Christmas shoppers with "1,000 of deals" and lots of ways to shop and still get a gift to place under the Christmas tree.

For Walmart, you can order online by 6 p.m. to pick up the item the same day at your local store.

For Target stores, the website touts "last minute deals all week on toys, electronics and video games."

They have temporary price cuts online and you can pick up the item in the store, some even have $30 Target giftcard with a qualifying item that you can keep or have for an emergency back up Christmas gift.

For Best Buy, the electronic giant has had issues where some online orders failed to be delivered, but they still have a way to get last minute gifts.

To get your gifts today (December 23) you can buy online and pick up your order in as little as 45 minutes.

On Christmas eve, for last-minute gifts, buy online as late as 3 p.m. local time, December 24, when you use store pickup.
