Liam Hemsworth is the new face of Bench clothing.
'The Hunger Games' actor – who recently proposed to actress Miley Cyrus – has been chosen to front the latest campaign for the Filipino brand, following in the footsteps of stars including Joe Jonas, 'Pretty Little Liars' Lucy Hale, 'The Vampire Diaries' star Michael Trevino and 'American Idol's David Archuleta.
Liam met with Bench owner Ben Chan in Los Angeles two weeks ago to iron out the final details of his contract and billboards bearing his image have now been erected along the Pasig river in Guadalupe and in Manila in the Philippines.
Bench is also endorsed by Korean superstars Dong Hae and Si Won of Super Junior, and a mystery K-Pop superstar has also been signed up for their new campaign.
Romantic Liam proposed to his 19-year-old girlfriend on May 31 with a 3.5-carat cushion-cut diamond ring, handcrafted in 18-Karat gold from Neil Lane which he designed himself.
Neil told People magazine: ''It was hand-cut around 1880 or 1890 and it's unique and in its original form. At that time no two diamonds were alike, as they were all hand-cut, so it's fascinating to look at because it hasn't been re-cut to look contemporary over the years. I find that really romantic.
''It's a contemporary design based on vintage aesthetics. The light flashes and sparkles no matter where Miley moves her hand.''
