Lindsey Vonn sent out a cheer on Twitter, supporting her man Tiger Woods as he climbs the leaderboard in this week's PGA golf tournament.
Woods finished the first round of The Players Championship only a few strokes back of Thursday's leader Roberto Castro and Tiger's girlfriend tweeted out a cheer of support with a smile, writing a "Good first round :)" tweet.
Lindsey's support appears to have helped, her boyfriend Tiger is moving up the leaderboard on Friday and after briefly holding the lead is now trailing Spaniard Sergio Garcia by only one stroke.
Tiger Woods only has one win at TPC Sawgrass, golf's number one golfer in the world won the "Fifth Major" in golf in 2001 and has not won there since, the course giving him fits at times.
But since Woods began dating Vaughn, his game has improved.
Woods has been in 6 PGA golf tournament events and has won 3 and finished fourth at The 2013 Masters in Augusta, Ga. a few weeks ago.
He is now again the number one ranked golfer in the world and tops the PGA money list for 2013 and also tops the FedExCup Season Points list, 343 points ahead of Brandt Snedeker.
Can he win this weekend?
This course is not one of Tiger's favorites.
His lone win was a dozen years ago and Woods was busy dominating the world of golf at the time.
Since then, he has struggled mightily at times at TPC Sawgrass.
ESPN notes, "Since his only Players title, Woods has more withdrawals (two) than he does top-10s (one.). His only top-10 in that period was an eight-place finish in 2009 when he was in the final group but shot 73."
However, he is hot this week and is fighting for the top spot on Friday.
Will Lindsey be sending out a tweet of support to the man on top of The Players Championship leaderboard tonight?
