August 5, 2013 By Staff

Who is the Bachelor for 2014?

Juan Pablo Galavis has landed the role of 'The Bachelor' for the next season (which is believe it or not, season 18)!

Last season, Sean Lowe slipped an engagement ring on the finger of Catherine Giudici as season 17 came to a conclusion.

They are still together, Lowe and Giudici remain engaged in August 2013.

Lowe made the most of his reality TV fame, he also appeared in the sixteenth season of Dancing with the Stars.

Desiree Hartsock, who came in fourth on last season's Bachelor, was featured in the ninth season of The Bachelorette.

She concluded her season tonight and picked Chris Siegfried to marry.

Juan Pablo was eliminated early, but lands the prize of 'The Bachelor' 2014.

Are you excited that Juan Pablo has landed the role of The Bachelor for season 18?

"In the history of this show, no guy has made a greater impact with less screen time," said Chris Harrison on Monday's After the Final Rose show.

For the record, Juan Pablo Galavis is 32 years old and will now have 25 beautiful women doing all sorts of crazy things to gain his attention.

"He is so sensual and charming," said Desiree Hartsock at one point during the season. "Just his accent alone is sexy. He is like a dream of a man."

The 2014 Bachelor returns to TV in January 2014.
