Russell Wilson and wife Ashton Meem are getting a divorce and some details were made available in April 2014, including the fact that Russell was the person who filed for divorce.

According to Page Six of the NY Post, Russell might be dating Lolo Jones.
Lolo is an Olympian and now a Dancing with the Stars contestant for the upcoming 2014 season that starts in September, will we see Russell show up at a DWTS taping to sit in the crowd and cheer on his supposed girlfriend?
ABC would love it.
There were lots of rumors surrounding the split between Russell and Ashton, including reports of infidelity.
Wilson made an official statement when the two split asking for privacy, saying:
"I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce. Clearly, decisions like these don't come easy. Ashton and I respectfully ask for prayers, understanding and privacy during this difficult time. Moving forward, I will have no further comment on this matter."
However, the gossip buzz was still out there for Russell and Ashton and IB Times reveals rumors of alleged affair between the sexy WAG (Wives and Girlfriends) Ashton and former Seahawks teammate and wide receiver Golden Tate.
Tate even addressed the issue as he wrote on Twitter after the charges were online:
"Btw the ignorant minority of people, bloggers and whoever else spreading ridiculous rumors should cut it out. It's absurd the stories that…Are being made up from whatever source. In fact Elise and Ashton are still incredible friends, as well as Russ and I."
Tate was a member of the Seattle Seahawks last season, however he left the team.
Tate signed with the Detroit Lions right as the rumors were beginning to surface and is now in the Motor City.
Russell and Ashton had dated since High School and were very involved in charity work in Seattle, so the split shocked many who had praised their off the field work.
The Seattle Seahawks host the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football to begin the NFL season for 2014 tonight.
