Walmart has announced they will close a total of 269 stores in 2016, check out the list of stores below.
More than half of those store closings will be in the US and includes a few Sam's Club stores as well.
Included among the closures are all 102 locations of Walmart Express, and some smaller 'neighborhood' stores.
Walmart has revealed that more than 95 percent of the stores set to be closed in the U.S. are within 10 miles of another Walmart.
"Actively managing our portfolio of assets is essential to maintaining a healthy business," CEO Doug McMillon said in a statement. "Closing stores is never an easy decision. But it is necessary to keep the company strong and positioned for the future."
