Should you sell high right now on LeGarrette Blount in fantasy football this week?
Fantasy football owners who have Blount as one of their running backs have enjoyed three productive weeks from the NFL's leading rusher.
The New England Patriots' offense will likely change dramatically after this week's game when QB Tom Brady returns with a healthier TE Rob Gronkowski for week five.
Is this the perfect time to sell high on Blount and trade the RB1 for as much as you can get for a WR or other need?
This week, LeGarrette Blount is a must start in all year long formats.
The Patriots play the Buffalo Bills this week at home.
In standard leagues, Fantasy Pros has his projection at 11.9 points, the eight overall back in the league for week four.
In PPR leagues, Blount drops to number 15 in the projected scoring for this week, but still would qualify as an RB2 with a projection of 12.9 points in the higher scoring formats.
Check out the projections here.
Blount is unlikely to continue at this pace in touches once Brady returns and Gronk is at full strength and it also is likely his TD production will drop as Brady favors Gronkowski in the red zone.
Blount's value might be at it's highest for an optimal trading position for team owners who have enough depth at running back and are looking to improve at other positions.
