Jamaal Charles of the Kansas City Chiefs is back for his first game in week four, what do fantasy football owners do with his back up, Spencer Ware at RB now that Charles will take over the featured role in that offense?
Is Charles a start or sit this week?
That same question is in the minds of fantasy football team owners who have Spencer Ware – start or sit the back who has carried most of the load at RB for the first three weeks for the Kansas City Chiefs?
Another back up RB for the Chiefs, Charcandrick West, has been ruled out for this week's game, so both Charles and Ware should see a decent amount of action on the field.
Ware was outstanding during week one of the NFL season, but in the last two games has failed to find the end zone and has also lost two fumbles.
Consider him a flex play, especially until you see what the division of touches Chiefs head coach Andy Reid decides on for the two productive RBs.
Ware has upside, he could have a huge night on Sunday Night Football versus the Pittsburgh steelers if he sees a lot of touches.
Jamaal Charles is a must start RB1 when healthy and featured in the KC Chiefs offense, though it's unclear if that will be the case during his first game back.
The Chiefs have a bye week next week and the coaching staff may not use Charles as the workhorse this week, but they aren't tipping their hand to the Steelers (or fantasy football team owners).
Charles is a flex option play with tremendous upside if he's used similar to how he was last season, but he could also be a decoy or play sparingly.
