What does CNN think about Donna Brazile allegedly giving debate questions to Hillary Clinton before a debate with Bernie Sanders during the Democratic Party primary race for president?
A statement from the network says they are uncomfortable.
A new Wikileaks drop shows an e-mail that makes the revelation of questions being forwarded to Hillary Clinton so she could have a prepared answer ready for the debate.
The e-mail note was sent from Brazile to Clinton chairman John Podesta and communications chief Jennifer Palmieri, according to Wikileaks.
The subject line:
“One of the questions directed to HRC tomorrow is from a woman with a rash.”
“Her family has lead poison and she will ask what, if anything, will Hillary do as president to help the ppl of Flint,” Brazille tipped Clinton in the body of the e-mail.
In a second email, Brazile promised Palmieri and Podesta she would “send a few more” questions before the CNN town hall for Hillary to use for preparation.
According to Business Insider, CNN says they didn't give her the questions and are uncomfortable with the latest Wikileaks reveal:
“CNN spokesperson Lauren Pratapas said in a statement provided to Business Insider that CNN "never gave Brazile access to any questions, prep material, attendee list, background information or meetings in advance of a town hall or debate."
"We are completely uncomfortable with what we have learned about her interactions with the Clinton campaign while she was a CNN contributor," Pratapas said.”
